Erin Cicone returns for her third season as the Head Athletic Trainer for Lesley's 11 varsity sports.
Joining the Lynx from Northeastern University, Erin worked as a
graduate assistant on both the athletic and academic side of
athletic training. She spent two years teaching gross anatomy,
injury evaluation and therapeutic exercise labs in the athletic
training education program, in addition to working with the Husky's
volleyball team. Erin continued teaching in the education program
until 2009.
Erin has also spent time working with a variety of sports including
rugby, hockey, track and field and performing arts. In addition,
Lesley University serves as a site for clinical education to the
Northeastern University Athletic Training Education Program.
A certified and licensed athletic trainer, Erin earned her
Bachelor's Degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training from
Merrimack College as well as a Master's Degree in Clinical Exercise
Physiology from Northeastern University. In addition, Erin is
certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as
a Cerified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Erin is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers'
Association, Eastern Athletic Trainers' Association and Athletic
Trainers of Massachusetts. She currently serves as the public
relations representative for ATOM.
