Athletic Facilities
Ten of Lesley's twelve varsity sports practice and play on facilities provided by Buckingham Browne & Nichols, a local private high school in Cambridge. Cross country travels to various locations around the New England area to compete.
Nicholas Athletic Center and Tennis Courts

The basketball and volleyball teams practice and play their games at the Nicholas Athletic Center which has two full-size courts with a seating capacity around 450 spectators. The facility is maintained daily by BB&N. Parking is available in the lot directly outside of the building, but if no spots are open spectators can park in another BB&N parking lot located down the street. |

The men's and women's tennis teams host all of their home matches at the tennis courts inside the Nicholas Athletic Center. There are four regulation sized courts, the perfect amount for a collegiate match. Spectators can view the action from a viewing room located
directly above the courts. The facility is maintained daily by BB&N and parking is located directly outside the building with additional parking down the street, if needed. |
Edwards Field

The men's and women's soccer teams use Edwards Field for all of their practices and games. The field was recently renovated to include FieldTurf, which is the same surface used by numerous professional teams. Edwards field also supports night games with state-of-the-art light towers and allows up to 400 spectators. There is a parking lot as you continue down Gerry's Landing Road near the field. |
Athletic Training Room

All of Lesley's student-athletes have access to the services provided in the athletic training room including prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. The sports medicine team includes a Certified Athletic Trainer, Team Physicians, and a Physician's Assistant. It is the goal of the sports medicine staff to facilitate the immediate and long-term wellness of Lesley's student-athletes. |
Fitness Center

The Fitness Center, located in the basement of Stebbins Hall, includes numerous options for any student or athlete on campus to improve their cardiovascular or muscular fitness. There are currently three stationary bikes, four treadmills, and four ellipticals. Free weight dumbbells go from 5 lbs to over 100 lbs. Weight lifters will find two bench press sets with adjustable seats, multi-purpose cables, and several nautilus machines. Gym goers also have access to a full stretching area with medicine balls. |
