Lynx wrap up season with loss to Hawks
Lesley wrapped up its 2011 season with a 9-3 loss at Becker College on Sunday. Catcher Jeff Gonzalez drove in a pair of runs, upping his team-leading RBI total to 15.

Lynx drop pair to second-place Becker
Lesley baseball dropped the first two games of its three-game set with the Lynx, 7-1 and 10-2, Saturday afternoon to Becker College. Peter Plansky tied a career-high with three hits in the opener, while Ryan Genua collected a pair of hits in Game 2.

Mitchell College crushed eight home runs in its 32-7 victory over the Lynx. For Lesley, catcher Jeff Gonzalez went 2-for-4 and Ryan Genua went 3-for-4 with two runs scored.

Two Lynx pitchers held Eagles batters to four hits on the day, but eight walks proved insurmountable in Lesley's 6-1 loss to Daniel Webster. Noah Shaw struck out seven Eagles in five-plus innings of work.

Elms used a 10-run seventh to complete its sweep of the Lynx in Monday night's 20-1 win. For Lesley, left fielder Andrew Colon went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored.

Mitchell starter Paul Martinez two-hit the Lynx in Game 1, and the Mariners batted around in the second inning of Game 2 in a pair of big wins over the Lynx Friday afternoon. Lesley's Jeff Gonzalez went 2-for-3 with a run scored in the second game.

Lesley outfielder Greg Anglin continued his tear at the plate in a pair of losses at Elms College on Monday. The Lynx outfielder went a combined 3-for-8 on the day and now sports a seven-game hitting streak.

Lesley dropped a hard-fought 4-3 game to Emerson Wednesday night Starter Noah Shaw went the distance for the Lynx, allowing XX earned runs and striking out 11 in his third complete game of the season. Aqib Shah tripled and scored for Lesley.

Lesley sends 24 students to NECC All-Academic Team
A total of 24 Lesley men's and women's fall student-athletes from four Lynx teams have been named to the New England Collegiate Conference Academic All-Conference Team, the league announced. Lesley women's soccer, women's cross country and women's volleyball teams all led or tied for the conference lead in representatives from their respective sports.
