    ATTLEBORO, Mass. -- A total of 13 Lesley University student-athletes have been named to the New England Collegiate Conference Academic All-Conference Team for the 2016 spring semester. NECC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Rebecca Mullen made the announcement this afternoon.

    WORCESTER, Mass. – Lesley University wrapped up their regular season with a pair of losses to NCAA Division I Holy Cross Sunday afternoon at Hanover Insurance Park. The Lynx dropped game one 5-1 before falling 5-0 in game two.

    NEW LONDON, Conn. – Elms College overcame a 2-0 deficit with three runs in the eighth inning and held on for the 3-2 victory as the Blazers ousted Lesley University from the New England College Conference Baseball Championship this afternoon at Alumni Field on the campus of host Mitchell College.

    NEW LONDON, Conn. – Fourth-seeded Lesley University dropped the opening game of the New England Collegiate Conference Baseball Championship to host and top-seed Mitchell College 10-5 at Alumni Field. With the score knotted at 5-5 after five innings, the Mariners would add two runs in the sixth and three in the seventh to pull away late for the victory.

The Lynx, who have qualified for the Tournament for the third straight season, will open up on Friday at 11:00a against top-seed and host Mitchell College.

    Somerville, Mass. -- Lesley University celebrated Senior Day with a doubleheader split with Mitchell College in New England Collegiate Conference Baseball action this afternoon at Trum Memorial Stadium. After dropping the opener 6-1, the Lynx jumped out to a 6-1 lead in game two before sophomore Nick Iadevaio (Mineola, N.Y.) pitched 3 1/3 inning of scoreless relief to hold on for the 6-5 victory.

    NASHUA, N.H. – Leading by a 2-1 score heading into the seventh inning, Lesley University pushed one run across in the eighth and pulled away with a four-run ninth to post a 7-1 victory over host Daniel Webster College in New England Collegiate Baseball action Thursday at Harvey Woods Field.

    QUINCY, Mass.- Lesley University smacked a season-high 18 hits and scored multiple runs in three of the first four innings of play to race past Eastern Nazarene College 13-1 in a non-conference clash this afternoon at Adams Field. The victory sets a new program record for wins in a season as the Lynx improve to 15-16 on the season. ENC, who defeated Lesley at Trum Memorial Stadium last week, fall to an even 15-15 overall.

    HENNIKER, N.H. – The Lesley University offense was in full gear today as they scored a total of 27 runs on 32 hits in a doubleheader sweep of New England College this afternoon in Henniker, N.H. The Lynx used an eight-run seventh inning to pull away for a 17-9 win in game one before taking the nightcap by a score of 10-1. The Lynx won the four-game set with the Pilgrims 3-1 after splitting a doubleheader on Saturday.

    HAVERHILL, Mass. – Lesley University picked up their third walk-off victory in the last seven days as senior Casey Blanchard (Bernardston, Mass.) followed a leadoff triple by freshman Daniel O’Donnell Jr. (Clark, N.J.) with a single through the left side to plate the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning. The 2-1 triumph in the nightcap salvaged a non-conference doubleheader with New England College as the Pilgrims took the opener 1-0.

    NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – Lesley University freshman Ryan Pumphret (Shrewsbury, Mass.) blasted a leadoff home run in extra innings to give Lesley a walk-off 4-3 win over Elms College in game one of a New England Collegiate Conference doubleheader tonight at the New England Baseball Complex. The Blazers would salvage the split in game two with a 5-0 victory. The rubber match of the series will be played next Tuesday, April 12th in Chicopee, Mass.

    HAVERHILL, Mass. – Lesley University and Daniel Webster College split a New England Collegiate Conference doubleheader this afternoon at Trinity Stadium in Haverhill, Mass. Sophomore Justin Clark (Chino Hills, Calif.) smacked a bases loaded, two run double in the bottom the seventh inning as the Lynx walked-off for a 2-1 victory in game one. DWC junior Nick Goodin (Dracut, Mass.) kept the Lesley offense at bay in game two, going the distance to lift the Eagles to a 2-1 victory to earn the split.

    FITCHBURG, Mass. – Lesley University fell to Fitchburg State University 6-2 in a non-conference tilt on a cold, windy Thursday afternoon at Riccards Field. Freshman left-hander Evan Meleedy (Lakeville, Mass.) was dialed in for the Falcons tossing eight innings while recording five punch-outs to in the win. Fitchburg State improves to 4-8 with the win while Lesley slips to 3-8 on the season.

    WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Lesley University wrapped up their 2016 RussMatt Invitational trip with an 18-0 loss to Westfield State University today at the Chain of Lakes Park in Winter Haven, Fla. The Lynx will return north with a 3-7 overall record while the Owls improve to 5-6 on the season with the win.
