  • Lynx Split Doubleheader With Hawks; Rubber Game Tomorrow at Noon

    Junior right-hander Nick Iadevaio (Mineola, N.Y.) earned his fourth victory of the season in a 6-3 win in game one as the Lynx split Saturday’s double-header with Becker College. The Hawks took game two by a score of 10-7 as Head Coach Bob McLaughlin recorded his 100th career victory as a head coach.
  • Muratore Ties Single-Season Best To Lead Lynx to Season Sweep Of Eagles

    Junior right-hander Tom Muratore (Mamaroneck, N.Y.) tied his single-season best, earning his sixth victory of the season as the Lynx completed the season sweep of Daniel Webster College with a 12-2 win Thursday afternoon. Muratore improved to 6-3 after allowing just two runs on four hits while striking out five Eagles.

    The Lesley University baseball team dropped a three-game series against defending New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) champion Mitchell College following a 12-8 loss, Sunday afternoon. First year leftfielder Steven DePalma (Albertson, N.Y.) went three-for-four with a double and a homerun while driving in four runners.

    The Lesley University baseball team battled Eastern Nazarene College to a 9-9 tie after 11 innings. Senior third baseman Mike Slaby (Foxborough, Mass.) went four-for-six with a double and an RBI from the top of the Lynx batting order.

    Junior right-hander Nick Iadevaio (Mineola, N.Y.) tossed a complete-game in game two to lead the Lynx to the 4-2 victory and split Wednesday evening’s doubleheader against Elms College. Improving to 3-3 on the season, Iadevaio allowed two runs on four hits while striking out two Blazers.
  • Lynx Blank Raiders, 16-0 in Non-Conference Play

    Sophomore Nick DeGrenier (Marshfield, Mass.) tossed his first career shut-out as the Lynx blanked non-conference Rivier University, 16-0, Tuesday evening. The Lynx move to 14-10 overall while the Raiders dip to 1-22.
  • Lynx Drop Saturday's Twin-Bill, Series to Mountaineers

    The Lesley University baseball team dropped the season series to Southern Vermont College falling to the Mountaineers in Saturday afternoon’s double-header, 2-1 and 5-2. Senior third baseman Mike Slaby (Foxborough, Mass.) hit his first career homerun – an inside-the-park homer – in game two but it was not enough to power past the Mountaineers.

    The Lesley University baseball team split Monday afternoon's twin-bill against Eastern Nazarene College with a 5-3 win in game one before falling 14-10 in game two. Junior right-hander Jeff Heinz earned his single-season best fourth save of the season tossing 1.2 innings to close out game one.

Junior right-hander Tom Muratore (Mamaroneck, N.Y.) earned his third victory of the season tossing a complete game allowing one earned run while striking out three batters.

Muratore tossed a complete game allowing one run on four hits while striking out seven in a 3-1 game one victory.

    Sophomore first baseman Ryan Pumphret (Shewsbury, Mass.) tied his career single-game high going four-for-four with three RBIs in a 6-5 comeback win in game one over Colby-Sawyer. Despite another valiant comeback attempt in game two, the Lynx dropped the second game to the Chargers, 11-7.

    Junior righthander Tom Muratore (Mamaroneck, N.Y.) picked up the decision in the Lynx’s rain-shortened, 4-3, victory over Springfield College, Sunday afternoon, to open the 2017 season. Muratore went the distance allowing just two earned runs while scattering eight hits and striking out five in Lesley’s first victory against a NEWMAC institution.
  • Baseball Tabbed Second in NECC Pre-Season Coaches Poll

    The Lesley University baseball program was chosen second in the 2017 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Pre-Season Coaches Poll, announced Tuesday afternoon. The Lynx, who finished the 2016 season with a program-best 19-21 overall record and 10-8 conference record, received a total of 31 points including two first place votes.
