NEW LONDON, CT. -- The Lesley men's basketball team dropped one to the Mitchell College Mariners by a score of 104-59 on Wednesday night. The Lynx fall to 0-15 on the season and 0-4 in the NECC, while the Mariners advance to 6-11 overall and 3-1 in the conference.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Chase Howard led the Lynx with 18 points on the night. Howard shot four of seven from the field, including two of three from beyond the arc. He also drew twelve free throws and made eight. Howard added three rebounds and three assists to finish his line for the night.
- The Lynx had a rough shooting night as a team overall. They shot only 29.8% from the field and 25.9% from three, along with a tough 54.5% from the free throw line.
- The Mariners got an efficient performance from Jalen Benson. Benson scored 18 points on five of six shooting, while going three for three from three and five of five at the free throw line.
- Dra Harrison added 17 points from the bench, while Alfonzo Stokes had 11 and Matt Finke had 10.
The Lynx return home for a conference matchup with Dean College at 1:30 PM on Saturday January 25th.
