MEDFORD, MA. -- The Lesley Men's Basketball team finished their regular season with a 85-49 loss to the Eastern Nazarene Lions on Saturday afternoon. The Lynx finish their season at 2-19 and 0-6 in NECC play, while the Lions move up to 13-10 and 4-1 in the conference.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Both teams had shooting struggles in the first half, with the Lions heading into halftime with only 31 points for an eight point lead. The Lynx failed to make a three-pointer, while ENC only made two of theirs. Bernie McGuinness was the only player to get anything going for either side, scoring 19 points and securing nine rebounds in the first half.
- McGuinness continued his the second half, turning from the boards to assists. He scored 11 more points and added four assist to his final stat line of 30 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, and two steals. He and Nick Manso helped the Lions pull away for the win.
- No Lynx scored in double-digits in this one, with Malachi Howard leading with eight points. Kyle Murphy had a good all around effort to celebrate Senior Day, scoring 7 points and securing 7 rebounds.
The Lynx will face the top seed in the first round of the NECC Playoffs.
