Men's soccer falls short in ECAC Quarterfinals
BOSTON, Mass. The Lesley University mens soccer team faced off against The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) opponent Wentworth Institute of Technology in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Quarterfinals but lost to the Leopards 2-1, ending their 2009 season.

Overtime goal thwarts Lesley quest for NECC title
Nashua Rookie Joel Jerrhags (Ystad, Sweden) redirected header off an Alex Jackson (Kent, Ohio) free kick with just 50 seconds remaining in overtime delivered the Daniel Webster College mens soccer team its first ever conference championship as the top-seeded Eagles upended second-seeded Lesley University 2-1 Sunday before nearly 350 sun-splashed patrons at Eagle Field for the New England Collegiate Conference title.

Lesley defeats Newbury 1-0 to reach NECC Championship
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. The Lesley University (15-3-2, 5-1-1 NECC) mens soccer team defeated Newbury College (6-14, 5-2 NECC) 1-0 in the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Semifinals to reach to the championship match for the second consecutive season. Ari Sinanis (GUILFORD, Conn./Guilford) scored the matchs lone goal to lift the Lynx to victory.

Men's soccer earns bye through to the semifinals
ATTLEBORO, Mass.Daniel Webster College has claimed the top seed for the 2009 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Mens Soccer Championship, which begins with semifinal matchups on campus sites Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. The Eagles (10-5 overall) earned the top spot in the upcoming NECC tournament after posting a 6-1 conference record.

Lynx ride four-game streak into NECC playoffs

In their regular season finale, the Lesley University mens soccer handed Curry College a 1-0 loss and in the process improved their remarkable 2009 season record to 14-3-2 (5-1-1 NECC). The Lynx have won four straight games, each of them by shutout, and will now wait to find out their official conference playoffs seeding.

Mitchell loses 1-0 to Lesley
NEW LONDON, Conn. The Mitchell College mens soccer team dropped a 1-0 conference match-up to Lesley University on Saturday afternoon. Lesley (12-3-2 overall, 4-1-1 NECC) scored the games only goal in the 60th minute off a set play on a corner kick. Ari Sinanis (Guilford, Conn.) took the corner and served a ball to the far post, where Stephen Siragusa (Valley Stream, N.Y.) finished it off with a header into the back of the net.

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Newbury College mens soccer team upset visiting Lesley University today in a thrilling overtime 2-1 victory on a rain-soaked field in Chestnut Hill, MA. Lesley runs unbeaten streak to six with 4-2 win
DUDLEY, Mass. The Lesley University mens soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to six games with a 4-2 victory at Nichols Thursday afternoon. The Lynx (9-2-2) were led by a goal and an assist from junior midfielder Tyler Reeves (Coventry, Conn./Coventry). First year Scott Coderre (Thompson, Conn.) scored both goals for the Bison (7-5).

Almeida-Beers shuts out Suffolk, 1-0
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. A second half goal by Darius Koep (PITTSTOWN, N.J./Del-Val) lifted the Lesley University mens soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Suffolk University on Tuesday evening and in the process improved their season record to 8-2-2 (1-0-1 NECC). The Rams dropped to 4-3-2 (1-0-2 GNAC) following the loss.

The Lesley University mens soccer team faced off with Southern Vermont College in their second New England Collegiate Conference match of the season and tied with the Mountaineers 1-1. The Lynx moved their record to 7-2-2 (1-0-1 NECC) while the Mountaineers are now 8-2-1 (2-0-1 NECC).

The Lesley University mens soccer team is barely halfway through their 2009 schedule, but with their 3-2 triumph over Rivier College the Lynx have tied their program-best total of seven wins previously set in 2007. OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. The Lesley University mens soccer team fell to SUNY at Old Westbury 2-1 this past Saturday and dropped their 2009 record to 4-2-1. Lesleys record remains above .500 which is the latest in a season that a Lynx mens soccer team has held that mark.

The Lynx suffered their first loss and move to 3-1-1 while Gordon improved to 2-3 (1-0 TCCC).

Lesley completes remarkable comeback in two overtimes
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. Lesley University and Mount Ida College played an aggressive and intense match on Saturday afternoon as the Mustangs held a 1-0 lead late in second half, but the Lynx scored the game-tying goal with 28 seconds remaining in the match to force overtime and eventually win in two overtimes to win 2-1 and improve to 2-0-0 on the season.

ATTLEBORO, Mass. Becker College has been tabbed as the preseason favorite to capture the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) mens soccer championship, it was announced today by Commissioner Del Malloy. Voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the NECCs head mens soccer coaches.

Lesley opens 2009 campaign with shutout win
QUINCY, Mass. There were many new faces on the pitch for the Lesley University mens soccer team in todays season opener against The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) opponent Eastern Nazarene College and their presence was immediately felt as the Lynx beat the Lions 2-0. The win marked the first time since 2006 that the mens soccer team has won their opening match.
