    In their first trip back to the NCAA Regional Tournament since 2014, the Lesley University softball team fell to host Babson College, 4-0, Friday afternoon. First year right-hander Sarah Bushman (Aurora, Colo.) took the loss falling to 13-8 on the season despite tossing a strong six innings allowing only three earned runs while striking out one.

    Senior third baseman Carlyn Barker (Temecula, Calif.) was named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week announced Monday afternoon. Barker guided the Lynx to a 3-3 week which included a 3-1 record in conference posting a staggering 1.730 OPS (1.048 SLG%, .682 OBP.)

They Hawks came back to split the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) double-header with a 4-3 victory in game two.

Senior Mekenzi Golden (Laguna Niguel, Calif.) led the Lynx posting a staggering 1.106 OPS with a .452 on-base percentage and a .654 slugging percentage over the eight-game week.
