Vikki Guido joins the Lesley University softball coaching staff for the 2009-2010 academic year. Guido is a graduate of UMass Lowell in 2007 after playing four years as the starting outfielder for the River Hawks. During her collegiate career, Guido was awarded All-Conference honors from the Northeast 10 Conference twice: a Second Team selection her junior season and a First Team selection her senior season. She was also the team captain in 2006 and 2007 and was even a finalist for the Laurie Mann Award given to UML's Female Student-Athlete of the Year.
Prior to college, Guido played on the Winchester High School varsity squad earning League All-Star status and Most Valuable Player all four years. The Boston Herald named her to their All-Scholastic Team her junior year.
In the Spring of 2008, Guido served as the assistant varsity
coach at her high school alma mater and later moved on to be the
assistant coach for the Regis College Pride this past spring.
Professionally, Guido currently works as a registered nurse at
Winchester Hospital.
