Stanley Chamblain returns for his second season as part of the coaching staff for the women's basketball team for the 2009-2010 season.
Coach Chamblain, who is currently pursuing his bachelors degree in Communication with a specialization in Leadership and Life Skills, rejoins the Lynx after playing on the men's basketball team in the 2005-2006 season. While playing for Lesley, Chamblain was the third leading scorer on the team and helped lead the Lynx to the conference semifinals with a 14-13 record.
Prior to playing at Lesley, Chamblain competed for a Keene State team that reached their conference championship and earned a #1 seed into the ECAC tournament following a 21-8 season. Chamblain was also a two-year captain at Hesser College averaging 24.9 points per game which made him the 2nd leading scorer in the country. He was a junior college All-American and led his team to a 22-6 record his sophomore season. Chamblain finished his playing career with 1,348 career collegiate points.
Coach Chamblain is currently working at several basketball camps in the Boston area including the Red Auerbach Basketball School, the Boston Celtics Camp, and the Basketball City Developmental Camp.
Professionally, he is working as a Teen Director/Advocate at the
West End Boys and Girls Club in Allston, Massachusetts.
