Lynx defeated by Keene State in ECAC Quarterfinal
KEENE, N.H. – In their first ever postseason appearance, the Lesley University women’s soccer team lost to Keene State College 5-0 in the Quarterfinals of the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament. The Lynx end their 2009 season with a record of 15-5-1 (8-0 NECC), one win shy of their program best 16 wins in 2008.

CENTERVILLE, Mass. - The Lesley University women's soccer team earned the number seven seed in the Eastern College Athletic Conference Tournament and will travel to number two seed Keene State College on Wednesday, November 11.

Lynx capture NECC women's soccer title with 3-1 win
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. –Jodi Fralick (WOBURN, Mass./Woburn) scored two goals and the Lesley University (15-4-1, 8-0 NECC) backfield limited their opponents to just four shots as the Lynx captured the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) women’s soccer championship with a 3-1 victory over Mitchell College (8-11, 6-2 NECC). For Lesley, it was their first conference championship in program history.

CENTERVILLE, Mass. - For the second time this season Jodi Fralick has earned Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Player of the Week. Fralick takes the honors thanks to a seven-goal week including her 100th goal of her collegiate career.

Women's soccer earns number one seed
ATTLEBORO, Mass.—Lesley University has claimed the top seed for the 2009 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Women’s Soccer Championship, which begins with quarterfinal matchups on campus sites Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. The Lynx (13-4-1 overall) earned the top spot in the upcoming NECC tournament after posting a perfect 8-0 conference record.

Fralick scores 100th goal as Lynx go undefeated in NECC
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In the 29th minute against Bay Path College, Lesley University senior striker Jodi Fralick (WOBURN, Mass./Woburn) joined an elite group of Division III women’s soccer players by scoring her 100th career collegiate goal. With the right-footed blast, Fralick became just the 15th player in NCAA Division III women’s soccer history to accomplish this tremendous feat.

BENNINGTON, Vt. – Senior Jodi Fralick (WOBURN, Mass./Woburn) added four more goals to her 2009 total in a 7-0 shutout of New England Collegiate Conference opponent Southern Vermont College. Fralick now has 16 goals on the season for the Lynx who improved to 8-3-1 (3-0 NECC).

NORTON, Mass. – The Lesley University women’s soccer team lost for the first time after reeling off three straight victories following a 2-0 loss to Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts. The regionally ranked Lyons improved to 10-1 in victory while the Lynx dropped to 7-3-1.
