Lesley's Veronica Halen has been named 2011 New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Year, the league announced this afternoon. Lynx head coach Paul Vasconcelos was again named NECC Coach of the Year.

Lesley came up short in its quest for an NECC title, falling 1-0 to No. 3 seed Elms. Jamie Coyne was named to the NECC All-Tournament Team for a second year in a row.

For a second straight season, Lesley has earned the top seed in the NECC Tournament, where the Lynx eye a return to the league title game -- and perhaps a trip to the NCAA Tournament. They'll start by taking on No. 4 Becker Thursday at 8:15 p.m.

Lesley and Brandeis played to a scoreless tie after 110 chilly minutes on women’s soccer action Tuesday night at Edward Field. Freshman goalkeeper Emileigh Lloyd make a career-best nine saves for the Lynx.

Lynx pick up 1-0 forfeit win over Southern Vermont
Lesley was given a 1-0 forfeit win over Southern Vermont on Monday, moving the Lynx to 12-3 and 8-0 in conference.

Fralick's Lynx move to 7-0 in NECC with 3-0 win at Regis
Jenna Fralick tallied two first half goals and assisted on Lesley's third score in her team's 3-0 win at Regis College Saturday, leading the charge in the Lynx eighth straight win.

Second half surge leads Lynx over Mitchell
Lesley broke a 1-1 tie with three second half goals in the team's 4-1 win over Mitchell. Veronica Halen upped her league lead to 16 goals by netting a pair, and Jackee Sanchez added a goal and an assist as the Lynx improved to 6-0 in NECC play.

With sole possession of first place in the balance, Jenna Fralick tied a Lesley record with three assists and Veronica Halen scored her league-leading 13th and 14th goals of the year in leading the Lynx to 5-0 in NECC play with a 5-0 win over Becker.

Jenna Fralick scored a hat trick in Lesley's 14-0 win over Wheelock Saturday afternoon. Eleven other Lynx scored a goal a piece as the Lynx outshot Wheelock 55-3.

The Lynx jumped out to a 3-0 first half lead and improved to 3-2 on the season with a third straight victory and a second straight 5-0 win on Saturday at Mass Maritime. Jackee Sanchez led Lesley with two goals and two assists.

Lesley outscored Emerson College 5-0 in capturing the First Annual Charles River Cup on a rainy Wednesday night in Cambridge. Jackee Sanchez scored two goals for the Lynx, now back at .500 at 2-2-0.
