ATTLEBORO, Mass. – For the second time this season, Lesley University freshman Jordan Mitchell (Sachse, Texas) has been named New England Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week. NECC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Rebecca Mullen made the announcement today in the conference Weekly Report.
Mitchell has been nearly unstoppable for the Lynx as she has extended her current point streak to eight matches. The rookie wrapped up her regular season leading the team with nine goals, ten assists, and 28 points.

NECC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Jordan Mitchell, Lesley (Fr., M, Sachse, Texas) - Mitchell continued her prolific pace in her rookie season in a 2-0 week for the Lynx. The freshman buried the overtime game-winner to give the Lynx a 1-0 win over Southern Vermont on Saturday and added her tenth assist of the season in a win over Becker. Mitchell has now scored points in eight straight matches.
The Lynx will serve as the top seed in this week's NECC Tournament and will receive a bye until the Semifinal round which will be played on Thursday at 8:00p at Edward Field.
