ARLINGTON, MA.-- The Lesley Women's Tennis team lost their final match of the season 9-0 to the Regis Pride on Saturday afternoon. The Lynx fall to 0-10 overall this season and 0-6 in conference play, while the Pride advance to 5-4 and 4-2 in the GNAC.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Regis swept all three doubles matches with relative ease. Katelyn Mogelnicki and Lauren Mogelnicki defeated Brooke Whitten and Morgan Anderson 8-1, while Stephanie Beatrice and Kaitlyn Colby took down Joselyn Martinez and Annie Dai 8-1. Jordan Blair and Brenna Peterson fell 8-0 to Samantha Gevry and Keleigh FitzPatrick for the third Regis win.
- Regis took each singles match as well, with half of them coming in sweeps. Whitten battled Katleyn Mogelnick, falling in defeat 6-4 and 6-1, while Lauren Mogelnicki beat Anderson 6-0 and 6-1. Martinez was the only other Lynx player to pick up a point in singles, falling to Gevry 6-0 and 6-1.
- Beatrice defeated Dai in two sixth nothing sets, while Colby did the same to Blair and FitzPatrick to Peterson. Regis swept the day with these final wins.
