ATTLEBORO, Mass. – For the second consecutive week, Lesley University freshman Ryan Pumphret (Shrewsbury, Mass.) has been named New England Collegiate Conference Baseball Rookie of the Week. NECC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Rebecca Mullen made the announcement today in the conference Weekly Report.
Pumphret helped lead the Lynx to a 4-1 week, including a 3-1 mark in NECC play to guide Lesley to a conference postseason berth.

NECC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Ryan Pumphret, Lesley (Fr., UT, Shrewsbury, Mass.) - Pumphret takes home his second consecutive NECC Rookie of the Week award as he continued his hot streak at the plate. The rookie had three multi-hit games on the week and compiled a .368 average (7-for-19) in five games. He started the week going 2-for-6 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs scored in a win over Eastern Nazarene and capped it by going a combined 3-for-7 with a double, three runs scored, and an RBI in the final two games against Mitchell.
