Prince's Four Goals Sink Lynx Against Salem State

CAMBRIDGE, MA. -- The Lesley Men's soccer team fell against a strong offensive attack from Salem State University by a score of 5-0. The Lynx now sit at 0-4 on the season, while the Vikings are now sitting 2-3.

  • The Lynx held the Vikings off for the first eleven minutes, but once Kendy Prince scored his first goal, he was unstoppable for Salem State. Prince connected on a perfect cross pass from Damon Deocleciano to put the Vikings up 1-0.
  • Prince's second goal was on a feed from Aaron O'Toole. Prince broke away from the Lynx defense and beat them all to double the Vikings lead 2-0. The third goal came off a turnover in the box that Prince popped in to complete the hat trick in the first 35 minutes of the game.
  • The Lynx battled strong to start the second half, but O'Toole connected with Prince again, this time on a cross that Prince headed in for his fourth goal of the game and sixth of the season.
  • Jaylin Cordes added one final goal for the Vikings after breaking through the defense and even getting past the keeper. Prince and Fabricio Torres led the Vikings with six shots apiece, while Sean Pugatch and Ian Charles each had one for Lesley.

The Lynx are back in action on the road on Tuesday September 14th at Wentworth Insitute of Technology. Kickoff is at 7 PM.
