    BOSTON, Mass. – Lesley University junior Chris Barletta (Valrico, Fla.) outlasted Wheelock College sophomore Nicholas Fenton (East Hartford, Conn.) to earn a 6-4, 6-7, 10-4 victory in number six singles to clinch the fifth and deciding point as the Lynx topped the Wildcats 5-4 tonight in men’s tennis action at the Boston Athletic Club.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Lesley University notched their first victory of 2015 with a 5-4 decision over visiting Newbury College in New England Collegiate Conference action Tuesday evening at the Nicholas Athletics Center. Junior Ian Barber (Westhampton, Mass.) led the way for the Lynx winning both his singles and doubles matches which included sealing the match with a two-set, 6-4, 6-4 win in sixth singles.

    NATICK, Mass. -- Reigning New England Collegiate Conference Champion Regis College powered past Lesley University 9-0 in NECC play this evening at the Natick Racquet Club. The Pride swept through both the doubles and singles portion of the match as they improve to 9-6 on the season and a perfect 2-0 in conference action. The loss drops the Lynx to 0-4 on the year and 0-2 in the NECC.

The Hawks claimed all three doubles matches before taking five of six matches in the singles portion to secure the victory.

With loss drops the Lynx to 0-2 to open their season while the Falcons improve to 2-0 with their second straight victory. AMC rolled to a 3-0 lead following the doubles portion of the match before taking all six singles matches to earn the 9-0 sweep.

    NATICK, Mass. – Lesley University dropped a 5-4 decision to Wheelock College tonight in the season opener for the Lynx. Lesley earned two out of three in doubles before the Wildcats fought back to score four out of six in the singles portion to take the match and improve to 1-3 on the season.
